White papers are powerful marketing tools. When I think of white paper marketing, I often think of B2B companies selling complex products. But the truth is white papers help build your business, communicate with your customers, and find new leads regardless of what your specific product or service is. That’s why I’m so excited to tell you about Michael Stelzner’s White Paper Success Summit.
Having attended his Copywriting Success Summit last summer, I can tell you these events are packed with valuable information. The fact that you can attend from anywhere just makes them all the more convenient and cost-efficient. This year’s White Paper Success Summit will cover topics like:
- Successfully marketing your business with white papers
- How to create a successful campaign to market your white papers
- Using white papers to generate more leads and more sales
- The seven keys to a successful white paper
- Proven techniques for using white papers for long-term lead generation and nurturing
Many of the heavy-hitters in the B2B and white paper marketing space will be there. Michael Stelzner (author of Writing White Papers), Bob Bly (author of The White Paper Marketing Handbook), John Jantsch (author of Duct Tape Marketing), Brian J. Carroll (author of Lead Generation for the Complex Sale), Jonathan Kantor (author of Crafting White Paper 2.0), Joe Pulizzi (author of Get Content Get Customers ), and many more.
If you want more success with white paper marketing in 2010, the White Paper Success Summit 2010 is a great way to start. And now through the end of the week, you can win free tickets. Check out this Junta42 blog post for more information.
I’d certainly like to win those free tickets too! This year I am repositioning my copywriting business to work exclusively with B2B companies, and white papers are a big part of what I’m helping them with. I already have several slated as projects for the coming year. Not to mention that I’ll be writing at least one white paper to promote my own services. I’m sure the information in the White Paper Success Summit workshops will be invaluable, and help me bring additional value both in terms of writing and consultation skills.
I have to admit I’ve already read Michael’s book, but have had the Get Content Get Customers book on my reading list for some time. I have another customer I’m helping to think more about their content in terms of customers and what they’re looking for. I’m sure the book would give me a lot of insight. But the personal consultation with Michael Stelzner is what I’m most excited about. Spending an hour consulting with an expert in a field that I love would be pure joy. I hope I’m selected to participate!
And good luck to the rest of you! Don’t forget to check out the details of both the White Paper Success Summit 2010 and how to enter to win the prizes.
